Healing Field Memorializes 911 At Tempe Beach Park

Healing Field memorializes 9/11 at Tempe Beach Park

18th annual tribute honors lives lost, first responders

Healing Field, a memorial to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, will return to Tempe Beach Park for its 18th year. The field will feature nearly 3,000 American flags, each representing a life lost on that tragic day.

A Place for Reflection and Remembrance

Healing Field is a place for reflection and remembrance. Visitors can walk among the flags, read the names of the victims, and take time to remember the lives that were lost.

The memorial is also a way to honor the first responders who risked their lives to save others on 9/11. The flags are placed in the shape of the Twin Towers, and there is a special section dedicated to the firefighters, police officers, and other first responders who died in the attacks.

A Community Event

Healing Field is a community event, and everyone is welcome to attend. The memorial is open 24 hours a day, and there are special events planned throughout the week.

On September 11th, there will be a ceremony at the memorial to remember the victims of the attacks. The ceremony will include a reading of the names of the victims, a moment of silence, and a flyover by the Arizona Air National Guard.

Healing and Hope

Healing Field is a place of healing and hope. The memorial helps us to remember the victims of 9/11, and it also inspires us to work towards a more peaceful future.

The 18th annual Healing Field will be open from September 10th to September 16th at Tempe Beach Park. For more information, please visit the Healing Field website.
