Returning for a Second Season
Netflix's popular historical drama Bridgerton is set to return for a second season on March 25. The new season will feature a mix of familiar and new faces, as well as a new storyline.
New Cast Members
Among the new cast members joining the show is Simone Ashley, who will play the role of Kate Sharma. Ashley is known for her work in the Netflix series Sex Education.
Other new cast members include Charithra Chandran (Alex Rider), Shelley Conn (The Witcher), and Rupert Young (Merlin).
Returning Cast
The majority of the cast from the first season of Bridgerton will be returning for the second season. This includes Regé-Jean Page as Simon Basset, Phoebe Dynevor as Daphne Bridgerton, and Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton.
New Storyline
The second season of Bridgerton will focus on the search for a new Viscountess Bridgerton. After the death of his father, Anthony Bridgerton is tasked with finding a suitable wife who can help him continue the family line.
The season will also delve into the lives of the other Bridgerton siblings, including Benedict, Colin, and Eloise.
